The Membership page shows the evolution of your Discord member count over time. It’s the most fundamental metric for any community: are you growing, holding steady, or losing people?

What you’ll see

  • Member count chart — your total members plotted over a time range you choose (7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or custom)
  • Joins vs. leaves — daily breakdown of how many people joined and how many left
  • Net growth — the difference between joins and leaves for any given period
  • Growth rate — percentage change compared to the previous equivalent period

Reading the chart

A healthy growing community typically shows a gradual upward trend with occasional spikes — usually tied to a giveaway, a campaign, a viral moment, or a collab with another community. Things to watch for:
PatternWhat it might mean
Sudden spike in joinsA campaign or giveaway drove traffic
Sudden spike in leavesSomething upset the community (check activity logs)
Flat line for weeksGrowth has stalled — time to run a campaign
Consistent slow growthHealthy organic momentum

Time ranges

Use the date selector at the top to zoom in on specific periods. Comparing the week before and after a giveaway, for example, clearly shows its impact.
When you see an unexplained spike or drop, cross-reference with the Activity feed in the Dashboard. The event that caused it is almost always there.
