Difference between a Raffle and a Giveaway

Creating a public raffle
- Go to Community → Public Raffle
- Click New Raffle
- Set the prize and description
- Choose whether to cap the number of entries
- Select the channel where members will enter
- Click Start — the bot opens entries immediately
Drawing winners
Unlike giveaways, public raffles don’t end automatically. When you’re ready to draw:- Go to the active raffle in your dashboard
- Choose how many winners to pick
- Click Draw Winners — the bot selects randomly and announces the results in Discord
Tips
- Use public raffles for big moments: hitting a membership milestone, celebrating an anniversary, or launching something new.
- Cap entries if you want to create urgency (“only 100 spots available”).
- Announce the raffle across all your channels to maximize participation.
