The Top Members page surfaces your most active and valuable community members — the people who show up every day, drive conversations, and keep the energy alive. Knowing who they are lets you recognize, reward, and retain them.

How members are ranked

Members are ranked based on a combination of activity signals:
  • Messages sent — volume of contributions to conversations
  • Reactions given and received — quality signals (people respond to what they post)
  • Consistency — active across multiple days, not just one burst
  • Longevity — members who have been around longer carry more weight

What you can do with this data

Recognize your top contributors — shout them out in your server, give them a special role, or feature them in your weekly recap. People who feel seen are much more likely to stay. Identify potential moderators — your most active, positive members are your best candidates for moderation roles. Top Members is a great starting point for that conversation. Target rewards and perks — use the list to decide who gets early access, exclusive invites, or special whitelist spots. Spot changes — if someone who was consistently in the top 10 suddenly disappears from the list, it might be worth checking in with them.

Time range

You can filter by the last 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days. Short windows show who’s hot right now; longer windows show consistent, long-term contributors.
Publicly recognizing top members — even just a mention in a channel — is one of the highest-ROI actions you can take as a community manager. It costs nothing and creates strong loyalty.
