Silverback is Apetopia’s built-in AI analyst. It has real-time access to your community data and can answer questions in plain language, guide you through platform features, and even create things on your behalf — no dashboards required.

Silverback is available to all Apetopia communities. Access it from the Silverback link at the top of the sidebar.

What can Silverback do?

Silverback has three levels of capability:

1. Analytics

Ask any question about your community and Silverback will query your live data to answer it.

Examples:

• “How is my community doing this month?”
• “Who are my top contributors in the last 30 days?”
• “Which channels are most active?”
• “How is member retention looking?”
• “Show me membership growth trends”
• “What are the peak activity hours?”

Silverback always pulls real data — it never makes up numbers.

2. Platform knowledge & Help

Ask how any Apetopia feature works and Silverback will explain it and link you directly to the right place.

Examples:

• “How do giveaways work?”
• “How do I verify my holders?”
• “How do reaction roles work?”
• “How do I set up the Discord bot?“

3. Actions — create things directly

Silverback can create the following on your behalf:

Feature	What Silverback does
Giveaway	Creates the giveaway and posts the embed + Enter button to Discord
Poll	Creates the poll and posts it to Discord with vote buttons
Auto Message	Sets up a recurring message on a schedule
Whitelist	Creates a new whitelist ready to accept members

For all actions, Silverback will ask for the details it needs, show you your Discord channels to choose from, confirm everything with you, and only then execute.

Daily question limit

Each community has a daily limit on questions (set by the Apetopia admin). When you’re getting close to the limit, Silverback will show you how many questions you have left. The count resets every day at midnight UTC.

Conversation history

Every conversation is saved automatically. You can access past conversations from the History button in the top right of the Silverback page. Conversations can be continued at any time or deleted if you no longer need them.

Tips

• Be specific — “Show me the top 5 members in the last 7 days” gets a better answer than “show me members”
• For actions, you can start casually — “I want to run a giveaway” — and Silverback will ask for what it needs
• You can ask follow-up questions in the same conversation; Silverback remembers the context
