Combat Arena is a text-based battle royale game that runs entirely inside your Discord server. Members join a session, and the bot narrates an automated battle — tracking kills, eliminations, and a final winner. It’s a fun, low-effort way to entertain your community and drive engagement.

How a game works

  1. A game session is started (by you or by a member using /combat start)
  2. Members join by reacting or using a command within the join window
  3. Once the session starts, the bot runs the battle automatically — posting updates round by round in a designated channel
  4. When one player remains, the bot announces the winner
No input is required from members during the battle itself. They just watch it unfold.

Starting a game

From the dashboard:
  1. Go to Community → Combat Arena
  2. Click Start Session
  3. Choose the channel where the battle will run
  4. Set the join window (how long members have to enter before the battle starts)
  5. Click Launch
From Discord: Members or moderators with the right permissions can also start a game using the /combat start command directly in Discord.

Leaderboards

Every game is recorded. Wins, kills, and battles played are tracked across all sessions and displayed on the Leaderboards page in the Growth section. This creates long-term competition and gives your most dedicated members something to show off.

Tips

  • Run Combat Arena during slow periods to re-energize the server.
  • Announce the game in your main channel to get more participants.
  • Combine it with a giveaway — the winner of the battle gets an extra entry or a special prize.
  • Check the leaderboard regularly and recognize your top players publicly. It encourages others to participate.
